Performance Analysis of Cross-Connected Sources Multilevel Inverter (CCSMLI) based on NLM and SHE Switching Schemes

Power inverter is an important device in nowadays technologies since the usage of renewable energy sources had been increased rapidly throughout world. The main focus research power field today to produce a high efficiency maximize obtained from i.e. reduce losses. In DC AC conversion, selection appropriate switching scheme be implemented very crucial. this paper, two different schemes, namely Nearest Level Modulation (NLM) and Selective Harmonics Elimination (SHE) are on Cross-Connected Sources Multilevel Inverter (CCSMLI) circuit with symmetrical configuration. schemes levels CCSMLI (11-level 13-level) types loads (R load RL load). performance terms voltage Total Distortion (THD) being compared for levels, schemes. Simulation has carried out using MATLAB/Simulink R2021a software package. simulation results indicate significant reduction THD when 13-level circuit, NLM implemented.
